Seaford Gardening Club
After the cold weather of January and February it is good to spot the first of the Spring flowers, namely the purity of the white snowdrops – a sign of warmer and lighter days to come. Following our Christmas meal and quiz for 35 members, our January talk was on bees, insects and pollination. On March 25th we welcome Owen Leyshon who will talk to us on the ‘Plants and Wildlife of Dungeness’, and on 29th April Roy Hall will enlighten us on the ‘Plants of the World’. I wonder which countries we will visit?
On 27th May Andy Thomas will take us into the complex and often disputed world of the Crop Circle Mystery. I have already heard this talk
and found it both enlightening and believable!
Our meetings are at the Crossway Centre (rear entrance), Clinton Lane, Seaford at 7.30pm. Visitors are welcome for a £1 fee or anyone can join for £7.00. Please come along and enjoy an informative evening in friendly company. We hope to see you! Anne Silk 01323 491331.
